Many Albertans have their heads so far up their arse. they think its a pipeline, so I'm almost certain they'll vote en masse for your addition to making Alberta grate agin Lisa.........any plans for a big tax free pub in the back yard???
I don't know about that idea... Too many of those craft breweries signed up to host the Water Not Coal petition. Clearly not team players. No IPA in team. Maybe better go with some of Dale Nally's Alberta trademarked whisky-without-an-e. A waterless wonder. Like closed-loop AI cooling. Something something about golf courses.
We won't have to hold our breath that long..........if the carbon capture boondoggle gets rolling, the EOR (enhanced oil recovery) scheme they have in mind for the captured CO2 will require lots of CO2 pipes to all those lucky Alberta farm fields where unclosed unproducing old wells are lurking. Danielle her own self declared it a new 'revenue stream' on CBC a few short months ago.
It does the heart good to imagine the tapestry of pipes running hither and thither through the most arable land in the country..........to force up a few more barrels of the devil's excrement from wells not closed decades ago........on purpose. Brainiacs in the industry waiting for just this magical time we're living through now.
In Alberta........we're all in on anything that can be produced at the end of a pipeline to where ever. Hallelujah!
Think how unsightly it will all be. Just like the wind farms. Is Ditzy Danni going to be in a catch 22, after the kerfuffle about unsightly wind farms. Just wondering. Now fetch me another Lethbridge Pilsner.
Thank you, Lisa. One thing the Conservatives in this province lack is a sense of humor. And when this pipeline is in place I'd be happy to come over for a pint. But I don't know if I can wait that long, LOL! So you're welcome to swing by anytime for one here. :-)
So appreciate your sense of humour, which helps leaven the (depressingly insightful) political analysis.
I'd like to propose a branch of that pipeline to my house. National security, secure supply chains, stronger alliances, middle powers, etc., etc.
He Haw - great idea, but are Smith and Nixon on board?
😆 🍺 I want a pipeline of Tims ☕️ double double dark roast. Can you arrange it with Dano? Thx for the laughs!
🤣

I can barley hide my enthusiasm
I would love to see a cartoon of Smith and her box of magical crayons drawing pipeline routes hither and yon.

You likely know the answer......she'll have those top of the ground pipes painted red, white and blue.........and declare it a patriotic scene.
(Forgetting, as will we all, that there's no blue in the Canadian flag!)

Thanks so much! I needed the laugh!
I love this piece. Ironically funny!
Very clever, Lisa. Have a good summer
Appreciate the fun !!!
Boy, we do need some humour in our lives. Thanks for this and I would pay for a branch line to my fridge!
Love it Lisa. The rationale is perfect.
