This week on Survivor: Canada edition, we have some exciting developments.
You’ll recall that contestant Albert isn’t all that popular with the others on the island. Yes, he catches more fish than anyone else, no one’s denying that. But it’s like he wants a special thank-you at every meal time. And he believes he should be able to pick the Island Council chair every single week, just because he catches the most fish!
This week, tensions are coming to a head! Albert has decided to set up his own camp and wants to take his share of the dried fish the survivors have been saving for winter, when the lake freezes over. He says that, since he caught more fish than anyone else, he should get half (half!) of the dried fish stock.
Is this the final straw for the other survivors? Will they vote Albert off the island? Tune in for what’s sure to be an exciting episode of Survivor: Canada Edition!
THIS is how you explain issues to people who are checked out from politics. Nicely done. Refreshing.
My only real caveat to the analogy is that Albert didn't really even do all that much to get that fish - his cam just happens to be next to a spawning pool.
